Non-duty Hours Legal Studies

Legal training covered by this program is specifically directed to non-duty time training. 

When funding is available, the agency will reimburse participants for tuition and a limited amount for books/materials for classes taken for credit towards a juris doctor.  To be eligible, an employee must have at least 2 years of USPTO experience, meet performance requirements and sign a continuing service agreement.  Please see details in the CBA.

Note that funding is not guaranteed year to year.
