POPA has been instrumental in advocating and negotiating for a safe work environment, adequate office space, reasonably priced parking, a child care center, and a fitness center.
POPA has provided for a Joint Labor-Management (JLM) Health and Safety Committee in negotiating its Collective Bargaining Agreement to channel health and safety issues to upper management. If you have an issue concerning health and safety at a PTO facility please contact POPA Health and Safety Committee Representatives.
For information concerning office space requirements, see the pertinent portions of the Jacksteit Award, and Article 16 and the Ross Award in Appendix B of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
Each Regional Office has an agreement which covers the facilities at each office.
